Giovonnie Samuels is an actress, singer and dancer. This San Diego native has a TV and Film career spanning over 20 plus years. She broke onto the acting scene as a series regular on Nickelodeon’s “All That”, after leaving “All That” Giovonnie had several guest star roles on tv shows including Disney’s “Suite Life of Zack & Cody”,and “That's So Raven” where she played Betty Jane in the series #1 viewed episode. Giovonnie eventually moved from children’s television and into film. In 2006 she landed the role of Kirresha in “Bring It On: All Or Nothing” where she starred alongside Solange Knowels and Hayden Panetierre. She quickly followed this up with her breakout dramatic performance in the critically acclaimed film “Freedom Writers” with 2 time academy award winner Hiary Swank. Giovonnie continued to appear in several films and tv shows throughout the years, and recently used her passion for the industry to help others. In 2015 she launched GS Acting Workshops, her business that not only teaches clients the skills to become a great actor, but also gives them the knowledge they need to navigate the entertainment industry. Giovonnie continues to work hard to be a positive representation for young girls who look like her, and is making sure to create her own content that will tell stories that inspire and uplift people.
